As soon as strategies can be subscribed to, technically linked or integrated on a platform-specific basis, the role logic changes fundamentally. In this context, a trailmaker becomes a navigator - not because he leads, but because his actions serve as a reference path.
A co-pilot consciously decides to follow such a reference. The personal responsibility remains entirely with the co-pilot; the role does not describe a recommendation or advice, but a freely chosen form of orientation or replication.
The decisive difference to the trailmaker/companion constellation lies in the technical or organizational connection. While observation was previously purely informative, active participation arises here - with all the associated opportunities, risks and responsibilities.
In the previous terminology of S/C/M/Trading, the distribution of roles could be equated with signaller and follower.

The platform provides exclusively information-based representations of strategies, key figures and track records. Interfaces, technical connections or mechanisms for the transfer, conversion or execution of signals or strategies in real money accounts are not part of the concept and are neither offered nor supported.
Individual users can operate independently of copytrader i/o in a separate, external role. In these cases, track records displayed on copytrader i/o may also be part of a trading strategy that is provided outside the platform via third-party providers or external systems, for example as part of licensing models, subscriptions or comparable forms of use.
These external offers have no technical, organizational or contractual connection with copytrader i/o. The platform does not perform any mediation, management, execution or control function with regard to such external activities. Responsibilities, risks and decisions lie exclusively outside the scope of application and influence of copytrader i/o
